I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Shaaf at the El Mirador Surgery Center and I must commend the surgical team on their excellent professional and care provided to me during my short stay at the center.  Dr. Shaaf is an excellent doctor and the end result of my procedure was as successful as I had hoped it would be. I highly recommend Dr. Shaaf for all your ophthalmology concerns because I believe you would be in excellent hands.

What a wonderful medical facility I wore contact lenses for almost 30 years while living in LA, Moved out here and due to the dry conditions the lenses drive me crazy A friend who is an optometrist suggested that I see someone at Shaaf. I was scheduled by the. Outstanding clerical staff to meet with Dr Prendiville I met with the Dr who performed a thorough examination At the conclusion the good Dr told me that I was a candidate for cataract surgery which would eliminate the need of contacts.
I had my right eye done on Thurs and I am a new person and it is only Sat I am scheduled to have my left eye done this coming Fri Cannot wait
The good doctor is an extremely knowledgeable person and very thorough……you can tell he loves his job which gives you tremendous confidence

Dr Prendiville is as good as it gets.  Very professional, No other can come close to this Dr.  Very professional, patient, Cateract surgery, remarkable results.  Post cancer surgery repair near eye.  “Awesome” The Doctor is an artist sewing you back as new. Came in office on Sunday because it was best to remove stitches on 6th day.  What more???

Shout out to Dr. Mehdi Shaaf and his staff, especially Lisa.  My 72 year old eyes now mimic youthful eyes. Cataract surgery on both eyes with Symfony toric lenses gives me 20/20 vision and I can read without reading glasses. Dr. Shaaf placed a Glaukos eye stent in each eye during cataract surgery to lessen glaucoma eye pressure to now a normal of 14. Dr. Shaaf is meticulous in his care and treatment and his results show. Do your eyes a huge favor and go see him!

I was referred to Shaaf Eye Care by my primary doctor. I met Dr. Kevin Prendeville in November and immediately my trepidations over eye surgery were put to rest. Dr. Prendeville’s manner and his warmth are second only to his skill as a surgeon. My cataracts had grown and I was losing my sight, frankly I was scared. But from our first meeting I knew I had found the best surgeon. He operated on both my eyes, finessing the lenses I needed,so that now I have remarkable eyesight.
